PRODUCTION ENGINEER IN CHEMISTRY
We are looking for a Production Engineer in chemistry to join our chemical production group and work closely with the entire XTPL technology team to bring unique XTPL nanoinks and pastes to the market. With a solid knowledge foundation in chemistry and experience of chemical technologies, the Production Engineer will significantly contribute to the production effort and help achieve company goals while keeping exceptional product quality as well as respect delivery timelines. The position holds its part in an expanding team whose focus solely relies on production. Independent as well collaboration work is key to ensure smooth production processes with enhanced efficiency and bringing high-quality products to the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, and formulation thereof for applications in printed electronics;
- Documenting manufacturing results and outcomes in the form of comprehensive reports;
- Conducting thorough quality control assessments of manufactured materials;
- Streamlining production processes and enhancing documentation related to manufacturing and quality control;
- Implementing necessary corrections to ensure materials meet quality control standards;
- Participate in the help to transfer solutions originating from R&D to production lines (help on scale-up and completion of preparation of transfer documents);
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the production laboratory and its equipment, while maintaining adequate material supplies for uninterrupted production. Additionally, developing essential technical documentation;
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- A university degree in chemistry (minimum BSc, with relevant experience or chemical technology technician qualification), materials engineering, production engineering in chemistry or a related field;
- At least 1 year of practical experience working with chemistry;
- Proficient in the practical application of methods for synthesizing, purifying, and analyzing nanomaterials;
- English language proficiency at a technical level for engaging in discussions and understanding technical documents;
- Enthusiasm for maintaining production quality and a proactive approach to suggesting ideas for improvement;
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a friendly and cooperative attitude;
- Accountability for results – their consistency, quality and efficiency. Being able to summarize information effectively in the form of reports (e.g. written documents, graphical presentations);
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Experience in chemical production environment and product formulation;
- Ability to operate laboratory devices (spectrophotometer, rotary evaporator, centrifuge, viscometer, etc.);
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing methodology;
