R&D Engineer in the Application Laboratory
We are looking for an experienced R&D Engineer to join our Application Laboratory team and help us develop the innovative technology of printing ultra-thin conductive XTPL lines.
Your role will be to:
- Development of printing technologies; testing and optimizing solutions
- Implementing new solutions to technological problems related to the printing process
- Producing samples for internal and external needs, and their characterization
- Proactive participation in designing innovative solutions to technological and application problems
- Active cooperation with other laboratories within the organization: nanomaterials, mechatronics and software development labs, in terms of device and process development
- Presenting research results at team and company meetings; preparing, on an occasional basis, technological articles (blogs, industry articles) and participating in industry conferences
- Providing expert and organizational support to project teams
- Possible independent management of small research projects
- Cooperating with external research centers
What we expect of you:
- Higher education in the field of nanotechnology, physics, mechanics, programming, electronics, materials science or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of R&D experience in nanotechnology or a related field
- Basic knowledge of any scripting language (e.g. Python)
- Ability to document, analyze, report and interpret results (use of dedicated programs, e.g. OriginPro)
- Ability to plan and implement experiments in order to confirm the assumed research hypotheses
- Independence in proposing solutions to research problems, planning and execution
- Advanced knowledge of English for dealing with technical matters and for communication (an international team)
- Flexibility and constructive attitude towards change and unconventional solutions
- Teamwork skills
